So, anyway, I got lost in a cemetery yesterday.
I have to work on a plant ID project for my Landscape Plant Materials course; basically, I have to take a bunch of pictures of a bunch of different plants and put them in a little book-thing. Well, my boss told me that a good place to go is Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield. So, yesterday, I packed up the camera and went.
I got a lot of good pictures; however, this cemetery is humongous. And, as I'm totally clueless when it comes to directions, I get lost somewhere in the Jewish section in the cemetery.
All I could think was, "If Resident Evil happens, I'm screwed."

So, it's 7:10 AM and I have to leave for work in twenty minutes.
Yes, I finally found another job. It's nowhere near as lucrative as my last one, but I actually enjoy the work. I'm working at Mark Webber's Landscaping; due to my overbearing class schedule, I'm only pulling around 25-30 hours a week. So, things are still going to be a little tight as far as the budget goes, but I'm getting some good firsthand experience in my chosen career field.
And I'm also eating Advil Liquigels like they're Pez. Seriously, this work is pretty tough. I'm hurting in places on my body that I didn't even know existed.
We're halfway through the first quarter and I'd say I'm pulling a high-B or low A average. I'm really doing quite well, but you know me: Mr. Perfectionist. I guess I wouldn't really be happy with anything short of the dean's list.
But, anyway, that's life in a nutshell for me.
Adios.
